做什么事情最容易成功？
当你面对不知道如何选择时，该怎么去选择？曾经有位前辈说：就选那条更难的道路，一般不会错的。
因为在这个世上，做最难得事反而最容易获得成功。历史上在这方面的例子后很多，如曾国藩在打太平天国时就是用最笨最难得办法，就是“结硬寨，打呆仗”，一点一点地去攻克敌人，取得了最终的胜利。
因为，当你觉得某件事难时，别人也是一样的觉得难，大家就不愿意参与进来，与你竞争的人就少了。等你做得有点起色之后，别人看到了，即使想追，一部分人还是觉得难，所以索性就放弃了；另一部分人，下定决心来追，那也只是在你的屁股后面追了，到最后也就只能吃一些你吃剩下的甘蔗渣了。
这一点与股市的投资也有点相似，投资大师巴菲特曾经说过“当别人贪婪时，我要恐惧；当别人恐惧时，我要贪婪。”说的就是这个道理。如果投资过股市的人都会知道，往往在这种选择的时候都是选择最艰难的时候。
因为一般的投资者都是这样理解的，当股市火爆的时候，买进的股票马上就能赚钱，不去赚这个钱，那还不是傻子，所以人们都纷纷加入博傻的行列。相反，当股市低迷时，大家都不去买，就你一个人去买入，这时是需要很大的决断力的。在这两种情况下，去做决断确实很困难，当你这样去做后，你的收获一般不会差的。
做最难的事，难就难在能够持续的做下去。既然是最难的事，做起来要么是枯燥无味，要么是需要的资源太多，要么是需要持续的时间太长。。。总之，就不是一般人能够坚持得下来的。真是因为做最难的事一般人很难坚持下去，所以做这种事，越到后面人就越少，能够坚持到完成的人就更少了。一旦最终做完的人少了，你的竞争对手也就少了，你若不成功，天理难容呀。
所以，选择做事就选择做最难的事，确实更容易成功。当然，在做的过程中会带给你痛苦，但是，有些痛苦是没有办法躲避掉的。
比如，我们锻炼身体，必然会带来肌肉的痛苦；减肥必然带来不能吃美食的痛苦；学习必然带来不能玩耍的痛苦等等，这些痛苦都是无法躲避的。
既然痛苦无法躲避，那我们与其被动地接受，不如主动地去消耗这些痛苦。锻炼身体带来的肌肉痛苦可以通过不断锻炼来消除，到最后就可以享受锻炼带给我们的收获，就是获得一副健康的身体。
我们要尽早地消耗掉这些痛苦，越早消耗掉，我们就能越早获得收益。
当我们真正明白这些道理后，就不会恐惧这些痛苦，甚至会主动去找那些必将到来的痛苦，把它们提前消化掉，进而做到将消耗痛苦作为一件高兴的事来做。
